Capital Fund Program
In order to maintain its public housing inventory as a viable source of affordable housing, the Authority develops an annual Capital Improvement Plan. Through the Capital Fund Program, the Authority receives an annual formula grant to implement such plans. In FY 2003, the Authority completed exterior renovations and site improvements to Public Housing Project VA22-4, Delphine Court and Ivanhoe Heights. The renovations/ improvements included the replacement of the hardcoat exterior siding with hardiplank, enclosure of all stairwells and replacement of drying yard and dumpster enclosures.
